Hello! Thank you for visiting our website. If you have made it this far, why not spend another minute or two reading a little bit "about us."
We are Jody, Amanda and Tracy and in May 2024, we became the owners of this wonderful, warm little play centre.
We first met as neighbours, then became friends, daycare-mum friends and now business partners. Between the 3 of us, we have 10 children under 7 and as such, have spent many a day letting our kids run amok in every play centre in town; so we can just have a few minutes to sit, chat and…breathe.
Rainbow City was one we hadn’t heard too much about, but when we visited for the first time it quickly became our most regular meeting spot. For us, it was a breath of fresh air to find an (air-conditioned!) space where our multiple toddlers and pre-schoolies could run and play safely, while we all tried to finish a conversation and recover from their antics the night before.
It was in one of these brief moments of magically “sitting” that the opportunity to buy Rainbow City popped up, and in a bout of pure madness, which we can only put down to being overtired and over-caffeinated working mums; we thought to ourselves – well, why not? How hard can it be?
Spoiler; very hard 
It has been an absolute whirlwind for us so far but we are starting to find our feet and settle in to this crazy new world of working-mum, small-business-owner life. We love so much about our centre and don’t want to change it overnight, but we also want to make it ours and bring to life what we had all envisioned in those fleeting moments of madness.
So, what’s next? Well, we do have some big plans for the centre and you will start to see these changes over the coming weeks and months. We’re looking forward to making Rainbow City a vibrant hub of the local mum-of-tiny-people community!
